Then I went over to visit with Mark Resch, who's now at Creative Commons. The foundation is situated at Mitch Kapor's Open Source Applications Foundation... and I have to admit, he's got some great art on the walls. Here's one that a bit whimsical. I saw a very nice collection of photographs... but they didn't come across well on cameraphone. There's one photo of a room in some wartorn country, with bulletholes where art should be hanging, that was quite evocative. Another, a living room in Sarajevo, it almost brought tears to my eyes. Amazing works.
